I am thankful for:

Meeting my Sister for lunch this week. It was a last minute plan and so much fun.

My family's health.

Two silly dogs who always make me laugh.

New Look!

As you can see my blog has a new look thanks to Danielle! I am just loving this new look as it reminds me of spring. I am really wishing spring was here, so since I can't wear spring clothes, I'm "dressing up" my blog. If anyone is interested in a new look for their blog I highly recommend Danielle, right now she's holding a raffle for blog makeover, which part of the proceeds will be donated to Half the Sky Foundation.

I am thankful for:

A wonderful Mom and Sister, we have so much fun together.

My friend who gave birth to a healthy baby girl today.

Great co-workers who make me laugh throughout the day.

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a nice weekend. The weather was somewhat mild, although today we are back to cold weather and snow flurries. I am seriously wondering if spring will ever come. I know it's only February, but I'm over winter.

On Saturday night we went to my parent's house for dinner. My sister, BIL, nephew, and niece also came, it was lots of fun. My sister and I have decided that we must talk on the phone a lot because other day when their phone rang my niece grabbed the phone and said "Hello Karwin", that's Karen in toddler speak.

Sunday was a quiet day. I made cherry scones for breakfast, which were delicious. Later that night I started watching the Jon & Kate Plus Eight marathon. I seriously love that show, it's so hilarious. I am just amazed how the parents still have a sense of humor through it all. I cannot imagine having eight children...wow.

I am thankful for:

A wonderful Hubby who shows his love each and every day.

Girlfriends- there's nothing better than meeting up with old friends and catching up.

Increasing daylight hours. I am one of those who loves to wake up to daylight and still have sunshine after work.

A great trip to FL--was so nice to be in warm weather. Also after meetings we had a lot of fun. (I'll post photos later this week).

Our adoption journey-- we are learning to be patient and rely on our faith.

Thankful Thursday- a day late

I am thankful for:

Having a great lunch yesterday with one of my college girlfriends. It was so fun to catch up and see her beautiful baby.

My upcoming business trip to FL, I am looking forward to leaving the cold for some warm, sunny weather.

A great Hubby who always makes sure I know how much he loves me.
